About The Position

You will be the Manufacturing Engineer (PWB Fabrication) for the Missiles & Fire Control Manufacturing Engineering – Dallas Electrical Shop PWB team. Our team is responsible for delivering high‑quality Printed Wiring Boards (PWB) that enable mission‑critical missile systems. What You Will Be Doing: As the Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for advancing manufacturing processes, work instructions, and risk‑mitigation strategies for the PWB shop. Requirements

  • Ability to work independently and as a group with little guidance.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment.
  • Ability to interpret drawings, Computer-Aided Design (CAD) models, product/performance specifications, and other systems integration technical data
  • Ability to liaison between Subcontractors, internal disciplines, and internal shop(s) Production Operations
  • Bachelor's degree in an associated discipline, or 3+ years of related manufacturing experience.
  • Ability to obtain Secret security clearance.
  • MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN

  • Demonstrated effective communication skills including verbal, listening, technical writing, and presentations
  • Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills, including team building, collaboration, and developing enduring business relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve technical/process issues varying from basic to very complex
  • Experience manufacturing PWB/PCBs to IPC and J-STD specifications
  • Proficient in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Experience in MPM Link process changes
  • Experience with SAP production control system and Windchill.
  • Ability to learn new and complex processes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, create, and maintain work instructions, task lists, and re‑work/repair guides for non‑conformance processing.
  • Identify production risks, devise mitigation plans, and lead validation activities for new manufacturing lines.
  • Drive cost‑reduction initiatives from concept through closure while ensuring schedule, quality, and safety targets are met.
  • Support testing, hardware, and tooling issues; collaborate with shop‑floor personnel, management, and program leads.
  • Champion continuous‑improvement and lean practices to reduce waste, enhance affordability, and improve overall efficiency.
