About The Position

In this position... Experienced Manufacturing Engineer is responsible as CIB / CAFM Budget and Project Management Analyst for leading the evaluation, prioritization, coordination, and tracking of capital investment and critical asset mitigation projects across North American Powertrain and Prototype facilities. This role ensures that project submissions are aligned with operational priorities, long‑term strategy, and annual and multi-year budget plans. The position requires strong analytical capability, cross‑functional collaboration, and effective project governance to support Operations, MSAP, and Finance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, with Business/Finance, or related field
  • 5+ years of Experience in capital planning, project management, or asset management.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, prioritize, and select Capital Investment Budget (CIB) requests to ensure alignment with the annual budget and organizational strategic priorities.
  • Coordinate the collection and consolidation of annual project submissions across Maintenance, Modernization, and Controls Obsolescence workstreams.
  • Prioritize operational needs and allocate funding across North American Powertrain and Prototype facilities based on project criticality and resource availability.
  • Identify planning requirements for Critical Asset Failure Mitigation (CAFM) and ensure alignment with Operations, Maintenance Strategy, and Asset Planning (MSAP).
  • Lead the prioritization, coordination, and budget validation of CAFM project submissions.
  • Review project submissions for CAFM, M&M, Controls Obsolescence, and PTOME, actively contributing to monthly approved project status reviews.
  • Track and maintain accurate project records in SharePoint and SAP, and collaborate with WAVE stakeholders to ensure milestone visibility and reporting accuracy.
  • Support preparation of annual CAFM elements for the 5‑Year Cycle Plan in collaboration with Finance, Operations, and MSAP.
  • Maintain a robust and continuous process to monitor project status and implement updates driven by cycle plan adjustments, study requirements, and equipment‑related issues.
