About The Position

We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer (ME) to lead NPI line setup, process implementation, and production readiness in the U.S. In this role, you will be responsible for translating product and process designs into fully operational, scalable production lines, ensuring efficiency, quality, and on-time delivery. This is a hands-on role with strong ownership of shop floor execution.

Requirements

5–10+ years in Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering, or NPI roles
Strong experience in production line setup and layout design
Hands-on experience with equipment installation and qualification
Familiarity with manufacturing processes (assembly, automation, etc.)
Knowledge of Lean manufacturing and process optimization tools
Hands-on, execution-driven mindset
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities in production environments
Proven ownership of production outcomes
Strong cross-functional communication and coordination skills
Comfortable working in fast-paced NPI environments
Fluent in English
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field

Nice To Haves

Experience in EMS / contract manufacturing environments preferred
Background in consumer electronics, robotics, automotive, or data center hardware
Mandarin is a plus

Responsibilities

Lead the setup of NPI and pilot production lines in the U.S.
Define and implement line layouts, workflows, workstations, and tooling
Develop SOPs and support build phases (EVT / DVT / PVT) through production ramp
Coordinate installation, commissioning, and validation of manufacturing equipment
Partner with vendors and internal teams on equipment selection and process capability validation
Ensure equipment readiness and stability for mass production
Implement manufacturing processes defined by PDE and global teams
Continuously optimize processes for yield, cycle time, and cost efficiency
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across production
Track and analyze production performance (yield, throughput, downtime)
Identify issues and drive corrective actions in real time
Establish and maintain production metrics and reporting systems
Collaborate with PDE, Program Management, Quality, and FAE teams
Coordinate with global manufacturing sites for process transfer and alignment
Develop and maintain work instructions (WI), process documentation, and control plans
Ensure processes are standardized, scalable, and audit-ready
