Position Summary The Manufacturing Engineer Intern will leverage critical thinking and problem-solving skills to contribute to various engineering tasks, supporting the achievement of project milestones. This role requires a holistic, systems-oriented approach to assignments and responsibilities. Work closely with process engineering staff, production personnel and other stakeholders to complete multiple projects within defined internship period. Projects include process development and testing of new and existing manufacturing processes related to plastic part assemblies, leak testing, heat sealing and process automation. Perform statistical analysis of data and occasional conceptual tooling/fixturing design. Document all activities and assist in the standardization of best practices and procedures.

Requirements

• Strong writing, editing and verbal abilities, as well as digital/web communication capabilities.
• Proven abilities in demonstrating good judgment, building effective working relationships, excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to complete assigned task in prescribed period, meet deadlines, and exhibits a sense of urgency.
• Comfortable with seeking help and asking questions.
• Completion of second-year university studies in Mechanical, Biomechanical or Manufacturing Engineering or related curriculum.
