Growing environment with ability to develop within a highly qualified team Working in a multi-cultural team and international company Working with well-known products and with very good references in this market Position Summary: The Successful Manufacturing Engineer Intern Candidate will be assigned a variety and mix of different assignments every day. The Intern Candidate will be trained in skill sets that the student may have had previous academics / training but that would benefit the Student for strengthening and refinement.

Requirements

  • Candidate for Associates of Science (AS) / Bachelors of Science (BS) Mechanical Engineering, AS / BS Industrial Engineering, AS / BS Biomedical Engineering, AS / BS Electrical / Computer / Electronics Engineering, AS / BS Information Technology.
  • Proficient with MicroSoft Office (WORD, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Some Skills with SolidWorks.
  • Excellent Organizational skills and Time Management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications.
  • Interested and willing to be trained in SAP ERP System, Internal ECO System, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance, Test Methods and Inspection Gauges & Instruments, as well as other Production Equipment, Hardware / Software Tools
  • Must be able and available to work full time at the Tolland factory 5-days per week, working in an Industrial & Manufacturing Factory and be able to lift 25-lbs.

Responsibilities

  • The Manufacturing Engineer Intern-1 Candidate will be focused on the existing Single Ply Cutter (SPC) Assembly, Test & Pack Operations.
  • The Intern-1 Candidate will be required to learn a variety of Assembly Processes, Test Processes, Machine Set-up & Operation Processes, required to develop and document Work Instructions, perform Time Studies, Capacity Studies and complete Material Handling and Work Station Layout Analysis.
