A day in the Life: Develop and Improve Systems for Automating Liquid Handling, lead the development and implementation of innovative solutions for automating liquid handling, covering system integration, programming, and robotics. Ensure successful installation, development and integration of liquid handling automation systems such as Tecan and Hamilton instruments with existing infrastructure. Plan and conduct thorough systems testing and solve technical issues. Work closely with Technical Operations, Engineering, Production, and Quality teams to align automation initiatives with strategic goals. Analyze current processes to find opportunities for automation to improve performance and increase efficiency. Work in a fast-paced environment and respond to changing priorities and role responsibilities. Stay updated with the latest advancements in automation technology and apply them to improve our systems. Debug failures off the line, perform root-cause analysis, and update product designs as required. Complete process engineering changes in OCPLM and update documentation and SOPs as needed.
