Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field
2-5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in electronics assembly or similar environment
Electromechanical assembly experience in a production environment
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics

Nice To Haves

Six Sigma green built certification
Excellent written and verbal communication
Understanding of electrical/electronic testing procedures and equipment
Familiarity with ERP/MES systems, Oracle, AgilePDM, Digithread, Jira, Confluence
Strong data analysis skills (Excel, Minitab, or statistical software)
Familiarity with IPC standards and industry quality requirements

Responsibilities

Create and maintain work instructions, process documentation, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve throughput
Conduct time studies and capacity analysis to optimize production flow
Troubleshoot quality issues and implement Root cause/corrective actions (RCCA)
Collaborate with Quality Assurance to establish inspection criteria and acceptance standards
Evaluate and qualify new tools, equipment, and fixtures
Interface with Design Engineering to provide manufacturing feasibility feedback
Identify automation opportunities to enhance productivity
Implement cost reduction initiatives while maintaining quality standards
