About The Position

We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Stuart, FL. In this role, the Manufacturing Engineer will play a key role in developing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to ensure the production of high-quality aerospace components.  This position requires a strong understanding of precision machining, aerospace industry standards, and continuous improvement methodologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering
  • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or aerospace machining environment
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time bases without sponsorship now or in the future. The Company cannot offer employment to visa holders who require employer sponsorship in the future or cannot work now on a full-time basis.
  • Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency in CNC machining, programming, and set up.
  • Knowledge of GD&T and aerospace standards.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in CAD/CAM software- preferably Siemens NX
  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems
  • Excellent communication skills and project management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and improve manufacturing processes to meet production goals, quality standards, and cost targets.
  • Create and optimize CNC programs for milling, turning and other machining operations.
  • Develop tooling and fixture designs to enhance machining efficiency and precision.
  • Provide hands-on support to machinist and operators for troubleshooting and resolving production issues.
  • Collaborate with other MFG Engineers to ensure manufacturability and adherence to specifications.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for quality or process-related issues.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and lead initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
  • Utilize lean manufacturing and Kaizen methodologies to drive efficiency and process control.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed manufacturing work instructions, routings, and process documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with aerospace industry standards, including AS9100 and NADCAP.
  • Participate in audits and ensure adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage manufacturing projects from concept to completion, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and procurement, to achieve project goals.
  • Evaluate and recommend new tooling, equipment, and technologies to improve machining capabilities.
