About The Position

Join a dynamic and rapidly growing manufacturer in the Dayton, OH area, specializing in custom metal fabrication for industrial applications. We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II to support process development, documentation, and continuous improvement across our fabrication, welding, powder coating, and assembly operations. This position also involves supporting new product introductions and occasional travel for training, investigation, and equipment commissioning.

Requirements

3-5 years of experience in a Process or Manufacturing Engineering role.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and SAP systems for basic tasks such as reviewing prints and accessing production data.
Competency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of hands-on experience, or an Associate's degree with 8-10 years of hands-on experience.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Kaizen, 5S, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
Understanding of Lean principles, including lead time reduction and SMED.
Interest in expanding responsibilities into design and new product introduction.

Responsibilities
