Requirements

Typically requires a degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial or Aerospace Engineering and minimum 2 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Responsibilities

Provide daily engineering support to assigned Linear Detection manufacturing cells.
Troubleshoot process, equipment and tooling issues to minimize downtime.
Lead structured root cause investigations and implement corrective actions.
Support resolution of nonconformances and customer-related quality issues.
Maintain and update manufacturing documentation including routers and work instructions.
Drive improvements in yield, productivity, uptime, and capacity.
Lead cycle time reduction and cost improvement initiatives.
Support engineering change implementation and risk assessments.
Validate process changes through trials, capability studies, and data analysis.
Analyze production data and provide actionable recommendations.
Support tooling updates, equipment upgrades, and small capital projects.
Assist with equipment qualification and process validation activities.
Recommend preventive maintenance improvements.
