The manufacturing engineer provides technical support to Production or Assembly, to achieve the production at the best possible price, quality, and time. On a given day, you may: You will work with suppliers and other JBT Marel locations and departments to include Manufacturing, Product Development, Innovation, Assembly departments, Purchasing, Service, Order Engineering, or R&D. Project Manager for Capital Expenditure projects Make recommendations concerning the production methods and processes in general and provide insight into development of new products Contribute knowledge (network) concerning production, assembly, and other relevant technologies. New product introduction (NPI) of transferred equipment into the site Focus on optimization of material flow processes and operation processes on manufacturing cells. Monitor and improve the quality where required Provide feedback to internal the customers to improve: the internal production process, the design process, ECR process and cost reduction. Management and optimization of the operational procedures, Bill Of Material (BOM) and internal cost priceManagement, preparation and maintenance of documentation regarding manufacturing process descriptions and engineering procedures (e.g., for molds, programs, tools, etc.) Manage the classification based on the continuous EXF process regarding manufacturing of parts Take part in decision-making about the operational procedures within the department

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
  • 5 years experience in Manufacturing
  • Experience reading prints
  • Understand GD&T
  • Excel, PP, Autocad/Solidworks (or similar)
  • Project Management Experience
  • You must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

  • Machine shop experience is a plus
