About The Position

The Transducer Manufacturing Engineering Co-op will assist the Transducer Production Engineering department with design, testing, and documentation. The Co-op will be a member of a multi-disciplinary team comprised of manufacturing, electromechanical, and acoustic engineers. Projects will include fixture development, process optimization and engineering changes.Job DutiesAs a co-op working with our Transducer PENG team, you will be empowered and encouraged to be hands-on. You will contribute to our mission by working with the Production Engineering, Quality and Product Management teams.  A typical day for you will include:  Designing, machining/purchasing, and implementing fixtures into production environment. Reading and understanding mechanical drawings and simple electrical diagrams. Creating and updating process documentation with exposure to the engineering change process (PLM) Collecting and analyzing of manufacturing data using Excel, Power BI and internal software tools. Conducting process audits and time studies, proposing improvements based on Lean Manufacturing principles. Evaluating ergonomics and safety within the Manufacturing operations. The Co-op is a full-time position January-July 2026

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing BS or MS degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or other Engineering discipline.
