As a Manufacturing Engineer in Fargo, ND, you may: Drive continuous improvement initiatives in assembly processes to enhance product quality and efficiency; review, process, and implement Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) to ensure accurate documentation and smooth transitions in production; collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve assembly challenges, implementing solutions that improve safety, quality, and throughput; develop and refine assembly methods, tools, and workflows to support operational excellence; monitor performance metrics, analyze data, and recommend improvements to reduce waste and optimize productivity; support training and knowledge-sharing efforts to ensure assembly teams are aligned with updated processes and standards, and work collaboratively with suppliers and other Applied partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical, Ag & Biosystems, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering required
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Familiarity with Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and related documentation processes
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate work across engineering, production, and quality teams
  • Capable of working independently and as a team member
  • Strong work ethic and unwavering integrity
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a learning mindset
  • Curiosity, problem solving, and analytical thinking
  • Effective verbal and written communication
  • Desire to work on a variety of projects
  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

  • Quality experience helpful
  • Proficiency with manufacturing systems, CAD tools, or process documentation software is a plus
