About The Position

Siemens Industry is looking for an Manufacturing Engineer 2nd Shift for our Fort Worth, TX factory located in the heart of the DFW Metroplex. Here you will work in a modern, dynamic factory environment. Our growing facility has over 350 employees that produce high-quality, engineered and make-to-order power distribution equipment. The industrial engineer's responsibilities include analyzing operations, designing workflows and production processes, reducing inefficiency, and ensuring that final products meet the established quality standards. This includes documentation and performance measurement of manufacturing processes, new product introduction, improvements to production lines, capital expenditures, cost savings measures and fixture design.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in industrial engineering or manufacturing operations.
  • Strong proficiency in cost modeling, data analysis, and production planning.
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing equipment and systems.
  • Experience with ERP systems and engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Excel, simulation tools).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • Lean Six Sigma certification.
  • Experience in aerospace, automotive, or other complex manufacturing environments.
  • Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP platforms.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and cost modeling.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed equipment lists for manufacturing and production operations.
  • Conduct cost analyses for equipment, labor, and materials to support budgeting and investment decisions.
  • Prepare accurate production cost estimates for quoting, planning, and financial forecasting.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to ensure alignment on cost and equipment planning.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
  • Support layout planning, time studies, and workflow analysis to improve operational efficiency.
  • Apply industrial engineering methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and simulation modeling.
  • Maintain documentation for cost models, equipment specifications, and process changes.
