About The Position

XOS is seeking a Manufacturing Electrical Engineer to join our collaborative Manufacturing Engineering team and further develop your electronic design and manufacturing skillset. Our X-ray fluorescence (XRF) analyzers deliver critical elemental analysis that enhances public safety and customer efficiency. In this role, you will play a key part in continuously improving the design and manufacturing of our XRF analyzer product lines. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with printed circuit board (PCB) design, schematic interpretation, and electronic circuit troubleshooting. You will lead and support a wide range of engineering projects, assist Quality and Operations teams in addressing manufacturing defects, and drive improvements across products and processes. You’ll also contribute to all stages of new product introduction, ensuring robust design-for-manufacturability practices and successful product launches. The ideal candidate will also proactively identify opportunities to reduce manufacturing waste, improve manufacturing processes with electrical controls, and enhance overall product quality. You will plan and execute projects to improve products, support custom configurations, and help resolve process and quality challenges.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in electrical manufacturing engineering.
  • Experience with printed circuit board (PCB) design.
  • Proficiency in analog and digital circuit design.
  • Experience applying statistical methods in a manufacturing environment.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
  • Experience with PLC programming and controls engineering.
  • High-voltage design and troubleshooting experience.
  • Familiarity with Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) and/or Root Cause Analysis tools.
  • Positive attitude and resilience toward technical challenges.
  • Electrical Engineering degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot electronic components and recommend design or process refinements to ensure reliable, manufacturable products.
  • Lead and contribute to cross-functional engineering projects, providing clear tracking, reporting, and communication of progress and challenges.
  • Apply Veralto Enterprise System (VES) tools to drive continuous improvement in product performance and manufacturing processes.
  • Conduct reliability testing and support failure analysis to strengthen product robustness.
  • Collaborate closely with design engineering to resolve process and quality issues and support smooth production ramp-up.
