About The Position

The Manufacturing Electrical Engineer will follow the design, process, installation, and integration process on all new programs for FCA’s Warren Stamping Plant as assigned. Additional duties for this position include but are not limited to the following: Deliver world class pressroom systems that meet vertical launch in terms of reliability, safety, throughput and quality Provide technical support to production and maintenance departments Coordinate vendor activities within the plant to support all new programs and engineering initiatives Work with and support pressroom operations in Stellantis Production Way (SPW) initiatives utilizing SPW tools for continuous improvement efforts

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
  • A minimum of five years of manufacturing experience
  • General knowledge of pressroom equipment / processes
  • Project management (cradle to grave) experience
  • Experience in reading, creating, and editing mechanical and electrical drawings
  • Strong background in overall pressroom equipment processes and technology
  • Ability to work different shifts as required
  • Willingness to travel locally

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Journeyman Skilled Tradesmen (Electrician preferred)
  • Press and Automation processes
  • Experience with AutoCAD or similar software applications
  • Tandem, Transfer, Progressive, Blanking presses
  • Destackers, Press to Press, End of Line Systems
  • Pressroom controls systems
  • Servo operation: Allen Bradley, Indramat, Uico
  • PLC: Allen Bradley, Modicon, Mitsubishi
  • HMI: Allen Bradley, Indusoft, Uticore
  • Robot experience a plus
  • Experience in stamping / press room operations
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong commitment to task completion
