JOB PURPOSE This position provides support to the Global Advanced Software Manager located at PHINIA’s World Headquarters in Auburn Hills, MI. This role will be responsible for supporting Operational Excellence projects for data management and analytics.

Requirements

  • Actively pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related program
  • Proficient in software applications: Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Microsoft TEAMS; and possess internet savvy
  • Strong analytical skills and communication for global sites
  • Strong work ethic
  • Willingness for potential international travel

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate tasks for Advanced Lost Time Management Implementation for different sites planned for this year.
  • Introduce into the Grafana Dashboarding application and help define/design modifications.
  • Collaborate with the implementation for Advanced Real Time Lost Time Management and Manufacturing Data Management systems.
  • Contribute with the research on new AI and Machine Learning tools that can be useful for our company.
  • Develop updates on documentation (procedures and guidelines) for users related to Operations Management System and the use of Grafana Dashboards.
  • Research state of the art of the current Manufacturing Data/Traceability systems that can be useful to consider for our company in the near future
