About The Position

Under the supervision of the 1st Shift Manufacturing Team Supervisors, the Manufacturing Custodian position is required to perform a variety of maintenance duties including building maintenance, inspections and general cleanup. This will be achieved by maintaining HellermannTyton's IATF16949/ISO9001 Quality and ISO14001 EMS certifications by supporting all corporate policies, procedures, work instructions and required documentation.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be able to perform duties on a ladder/scissors lift/forklift
6 months building maintenance required
Good communication skills
Ability to lift/push/pull up to 75 lbs and stand/ walk for up to 12 hours.
Maintain acceptable driving record
Knowledge in ISO9001/IATF16949 quality systems
Knowledge in ISO14001 environmental systems
Knowledge of the corrective action process

Nice To Haves

Forklift experience preferred

Responsibilities

Cleans as directed by way of mopping, dusting, vacuuming, recycling, and trash removal.
Keeps main aisleway areas clean and maintains them according to tour standards.
Use floor scrubber to mop and maintaining clean floors daily
Maintains the housekeeping storage room in a neat and organized fashion.
Reports any maintenance concerns or repairs to the appropriate personnel.
Maintain general building and grounds including scrap wood, scrap metal, and parking lot cleanup
Represents the Company in a professional manner at all times.
Maintain a safe working environment.
Assist Process Technicians on production floor
Attend and successfully complete forklift certification
Assist in Maintaining HellermannTyton’s Quality Management System and ISO14001 certification by supporting:
Corporate policies, procedures, work instructions, and required documentation
Other duties as assigned
