About The Position

The Custodian is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly facility by performing routine cleaning, and sanitizing duties. This role supports overall office and plant operations by ensuring workspaces, restrooms, and common areas remain clean and well stocked. The Custodian works independently and as part of a team to uphold company standards for cleanliness, safety, and organization throughout the facility.

Requirements

Previous custodial or janitorial experience preferred but not required.
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull items weighing approximately 25 to 50 pounds.
Strong verbal communication skills.
Ability to listen, understand, and follow instructions.
Flexibility to perform a variety of tasks and roles.

Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the facility with strong attention to detail.
Clean building floors by sweeping, scrubbing, mopping, and vacuuming.
Operate large custodial machinery and cleaning equipment safely.
Empty trash receptacles in offices, breakrooms, production areas, and restrooms.
Clean extruders and surrounding work areas as required.
Clean and restock all facility restrooms, kitchen, and coffee areas ensuring proper sanitation and supply levels.
Report any maintenance issues, safety concerns, or damaged items to a supervisor or designated personnel.
Follow work instructions and established cleaning procedures accurately.
Identify facility damage or hazards and promptly report them to management.
Comply with all company policies, safety protocols, and legal guidelines.
Support facility safety by helping maintain an orderly, hazard free environment.
Assist with setting up and cleanup of all company lunches and employee events.
