About The Position

Drive the plan. Balance capacity. Keep data clean. As the Manufacturing Capacity & Materials Planner, you transform demand into an executable schedule that meets customer dates while optimizing resources and inventory. Validate each new order against labor and machine availability, material readiness, and design release to protect customer commitments. Continuously reconcile production variances and adjust the plan to maximize performance. Safeguard ERP accuracy for inventory balances and material usage transactions. Lead root-cause investigations on schedule misses; implement improvements that reduce inventory and speed product flow. Hold recurring touchpoints with Operations to align on plan and KPIs. Issue and manage work orders; align schedules to feed MRP and inform Purchasing actions. Own planning KPIs: on-time start, on-time completion and delivery, lead-time compliance, aged WOs, labor and material variances; escalate obstacles and drive resolution. Publish forward capacity reports using standard hours and demonstrated efficiency; flag heavy loads, new product impacts, and potential material constraints. Function as the Master Scheduler in weekly reviews with Purchasing to align long-range demand with raw material supply plans that support business goals. Plan NPIs by embedding launch timelines into the schedule; coordinate cross-functionally. Maintain ERP item master data—attributes, BOMs, and planning parameters; manage lifecycle status and obsolescence.
