About The Position

We are seeking a Capacity Planner with strong analytical and infrastructure skills to support performance forecasting and systems planning across midrange platforms. This role centers on ensuring scalability, system reliability, and proactive risk mitigation through data‑driven insights.

Requirements

Capacity forecasting & performance analysis using tools such as AppDynamics, Splunk, and Dynatrace
Midrange systems expertise across AIX, RHEL, Solaris, and VMware environments
Monitoring & optimization using TrueSight, SAR/vmstat, PerfMon, and related tools
Strong analytical, statistical, and troubleshooting skills

Nice To Haves

3–5+ years in capacity management, performance engineering, or related infrastructure roles
Familiarity with Splunk, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, TrueSight, SAR/vmstat, and PerfMon
Understanding of ITIL, COBIT, and Agile methodologies
Experience working with midrange OS, virtualization platforms, databases, web servers, backup tools, and storage systems
Exposure to scripting/automation tools such as shell scripting, Python, or Ansible
Strong communication skills and the ability to interpret complex data sets

Responsibilities

Lead capacity planning and performance management for midrange systems
Build and refine forecasting models to predict future infrastructure needs
Provide executive‑level summaries and actionable performance insights
Analyze performance data and test results using monitoring and APM tools
Partner with engineering and operations teams to model system growth and optimize performance
Review technical documentation to assess capacity impacts
Support audit, compliance, and risk-related activities
Contribute to ITSM practices, disaster recovery planning, and governance initiatives
Recommend improvements for infrastructure and application performance
