Job Description: POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for fabrication, assembly operations, and managing the flow of material throughout the plant by performing the following duties POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Work in a safe manner and follow safety policies. Help ensure co-workers are working safely and following safety policies. Follow all applicable procedures, Standardized Work, Control Plans, and Product Specifications. Participate in required 5S and Autonomous Maintenance activities. Learn, understand and implement AMS and continuous improvement concepts. Support and participate in Employee Engagement activities. Work to an established rate as defined by customer demand and Standardized Work. Operate PIT and other material handling equipment as required. Operate manufacturing equipment and use hand tools as required. Rotate as required through multiple jobs. Identify problems, communicate issues to Crew Leads and Supervisors, and assist with problem-solving. Assist with training co-workers and support a respectful workplace. Perform other duties across the plant as needed as directed by supervision or management This role does not supervise others but may coordinate with Value Stream Supervisors, Team Leaders, or other end-to-end operations leaders to ensure business continuity. QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS: High school diploma, GED or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Basic computer skills. Minimum of one year experience in a related field or equivalent demonstrated skills and abilities. PIT training / fork license required for some tasks. Ability to lift to 50 pounds, perform tasks requiring repetitive motion and stand for long periods. Ability to read and understand reports and a willingness to cross train on several operations. Strong communication, teamwork, problem solving and leadership skills. Dependability/punctuality.
