The Manufacturing Assistance Instructor coordinates, prepares, and delivers Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies training, Leadership Essentials and Maintenance Training for the RAMI/TRAIN project in Brownsville and the COAST project in Corpus Christi. This position focuses on delivering practical instruction on waste reduction, process efficiency, and operational excellence using tools such as Kaizen, 5S, and Six Sigma concepts. The instructor trains a broad audience including technicians, managers and executives in a variety of manufacturing, commercial, and government organizations, focusing on strategies and techniques to improve performance. The role requires using knowledge of adult learning theories and learning styles to maximize learner success and ensure overall effectiveness of course instruction, utilizing various media for presentations. The instructor is also responsible for assisting in curriculum development projects to maintain course relevance and support customer needs, scheduling training deliveries, coordinating participant registration and logistics, compiling data, and ensuring quality control measures are met. Establishing and maintaining excellent relationships with customers and internal support personnel is also a key responsibility. This position is located in Brownsville, Texas and reports to the Project Manager - TRAIN Project.
