The Manufacturing Assembly Technical Technician Associate is responsible for completing assigned manufacturing Assembly operations activities in your Assembly production area safely, meeting our quality standards and meeting Delivery goals. Provides solutions by troubleshooting, identifying root causes of problems, making appropriate suggestions for solutions and working collaborative with the team. The technician will also be responsible for performing the work to implement the solution. This position reports to the Production Supervisor and is part of the Indianapolis Manufacturing Assembly team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Troubleshooting and diagnosing root-cause affecting equipment faults, malfunctions or failures, in equipment or products Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues Maintain compliance with quality and safety standards

Requirements

  • Associate's degree with 1+ years experience
  • Possess a sense of urgency, ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency reading engineering drawings and using diagnostic tools
  • Travel to Miami, FL to train for at least 15 to 20 weeks
  • Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • Operate powered industrial equipment, hoists, and other tools with lifting up to up to 50 lbs., frequent bending, stooping, walking, during the workday

Nice To Haves

  • Awareness of continuous improvement with participation on a kaizen project team is desirable
  • Demonstrated success carrying out leading day-to-day activities and organizational agility
