Operates fabricating machines such as drills, shears, presses and saws to punch, cut, shape bend and saw metal pieces necessary for the manufacturing of boat trailers. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Include the following. Other duties may be assigned Operates fabricating machines such as drills, shears, presses and saws to punch, cut, shape bend and saw metal pieces necessary for the manufacturing of boat trailers. Read, learn, understand and interpret blueprints and work instructions, and other instructions written or verbal, to complete manufacturing of products or components according to established guidelines and quality standards Identify parts and raw materials, as required for job order Inspect and make sure machinery is in good working condition Run a sample part and check against print Produce quantity of parts required by work order, check every 10th part Sets stops or guides to specified length, as indicated by scale rule or template Manually positions work pieces against stops or aligns layout marks with dye or blade. Pushes buttons or depresses treadle to activate machine. Places finished pieces in bins or on racks for transport to assembly are Cross Train to other departments as needed All Employees Follow Mission, Vision & Values.
