About The Position

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a relevant undergraduate or graduate program such as Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for data analysis.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

• Previous internship or co-op experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Familiarity with CAD software and manufacturing execution systems (MES).
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring and optimizing production processes to ensure efficiency and quality standards are met.
• Support engineering teams in product design modifications and prototype testing.
• Conduct data collection and analysis to identify trends and areas for process improvement.
• Collaborate with quality assurance to perform inspections and document compliance with industry standards.
• Participate in cross-departmental meetings to understand supply chain logistics and inventory management.
• Help maintain accurate records of manufacturing activities and report findings to supervisors.
• Engage in safety audits and contribute to maintaining a safe working environment.
