About The Position

The Manual Tester is responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and functional accuracy of Web and Digital applications across iOS and Android platforms. This role focuses on executing comprehensive manual testing for customer‑facing and transactional systems, validating integrations across retail and digital ecosystems, and ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards. The tester works closely with cross‑functional teams to identify defects, support automation efforts where applicable, and provide clear quality insights to improve overall product stability.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in manual testing of Web and Digital (iOS and Android) applications.
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, test design techniques, and the testing lifecycle.
  • Hands‑on experience testing transactional systems involving payments, promotions, inventory, and customer data.
  • Experience using defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA or equivalent).
  • Ability to support automation of test scenarios (including POS workflows) where applicable, with strong attention to detail and clear communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Web and Digital (iOS and Android) applications.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing across Web and mobile platforms.
  • Validate integrations with payment gateways, inventory systems, loyalty/rewards platforms, and back‑office applications.
  • Conduct end‑to‑end transaction testing, including cash, credit/debit, mobile wallets, discounts, returns, and voids.
  • Log defects, track resolution, perform retesting, provide detailed test reports, and recommend quality improvements while ensuring compliance with applicable standards.
