About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Manual Tester to join our Enterprise Technology Group. This role serves as a testing expert on a variety of insurance systems, ensuring high-quality system implementations and production stability. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in manual testing across different insurance systems, particularly Commissions, Claims or Policy Administration Systems. This role plays a critical part in developing test plans at all levels, supporting Agile delivery teams, and researching and resolving production issues. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2–5 years of progressive experience in insurance operations
  • 1–2 years of hands-on testing experience with insurance-related systems
  • Experience working in Agile environments
  • Experience developing test plans and executing manual testing
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both business and IT stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive test plans for new development and maintenance requests
  • Design, write, and execute detailed manual test cases (functional, regression, smoke, and end-to-end lifecycle testing)
  • Validate system-generated outputs including policy print, billing documents, and customer correspondence
  • Stage policy data to support system validation efforts
  • Identify, document, and communicate defects and production issues; support root cause analysis and resolution
  • Conduct production smoke testing post-deployment
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Customer Group, Accounting, and IT teams
  • Provide recommendations for process improvements and system enhancements
  • Support system integration testing
