Manual Straightener - 2nd shift

Responsible for straightening parts and checking the straightness of parts in accordance with work instructions to meet customer requirements.
Requirements
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize and work with a sense of urgency
- Read and interpret blueprints and work operation sheets to determine appropriate operation to be performed
- Ability to use dial indicators
- Good interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Self-starter and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for strengthening parts per customer requirements.
- Check orders in Straightening area for paperwork accuracy, verify count and move to next location
- Follow urgent needs jobs through the straightening area to guarantee delivery
- Runs production in accordance with established procedures and guidelines
- Maintain production quality to customer requirements
- Read and interpret blueprints and work operation sheets to determine appropriate operations to be performed.
- Reports key job status to Departmental Supervisor or Manufacturing Manager
- Cross train in other finishing areas.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned.
