Mactech, Inc. is hiring Manual Field Machinists to support projects across the United States. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy hands-on mechanical work, traveling, overtime opportunities, and working in fast-paced industrial environments. You will work on unique jobs in industries such as shipbuilding, bridge construction, energy, and heavy industrial repair. Every job is different, and no two days look the same. Requirements

• Ability and willingness to travel frequently
• Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in physically demanding environments
• Reliable, team-oriented work ethic
• Valid driver’s license

Nice To Haves

• Machinist, millwright, mechanic, or field service experience
• Blueprint reading experience
• OSHA or safety training background

Responsibilities

• Perform manual machining at customer job sites across the U.S.
• Operate mills, lathes, line boring equipment, and specialty portable machines
• Read and interpret blueprints and job instructions
• Work safely in industrial, construction, and outdoor environments
• Communicate effectively with team members and customers
• Travel for extended periods—often 50%–75% of the time
• Work overtime, including 12+ hour shifts and 7-day work weeks when onsite
