Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; certification in machining is a plus.
Proven experience as a Manual/Conventional Machinist or similar role.
Strong understanding of machining processes, tools, and materials.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including blueprints and schematics.
Proficient in the use of measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate manual and conventional machining equipment, including lathes, mills, and grinders.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine machining requirements.
Perform quality checks on finished products using precision measuring instruments.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and best practices.
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve machining issues.
Assist in the development of new machining processes and techniques to improve efficiency.
Document production processes and maintain accurate records of work performed.
