Requirements

Depth of Experience — 20+ years of professional experience, including senior leadership or advisory roles in consulting, strategy, or organizational development.
Client Leadership — A proven ability to work with executive teams and boards, building trusted relationships at the highest levels.
Entrepreneurial Spirit — Comfort with ambiguity, growth, and building something special — ideally with experience in practice-building or firm leadership.
Commercial Acumen — A track record of business development and revenue growth, with an ability to translate insight into opportunity.
Thought Leadership — Strong communication skills — writing, speaking, facilitation — and a presence that inspires confidence and curiosity.
Human-Centered Leadership — A deep commitment to people and culture.

Responsibilities

Create a high-performance environment — implement the systems, resources, and accountability structures that enables the organization to achieve exceptional results, while enabling decisions to be made at the lowest level possible.
Maintain strategic focus — connect short-term actions to long-term vision, ensuring all initiatives advance the firm’s overall direction.
Drive business growth — expand through both organic opportunities and mergers/acquisitions while safeguarding the organization’s culture and values.
Ensure operational excellence — align processes, tools, and talent to deliver outstanding client experiences and sustainable business operations.
Provide clear, courageous and decisive leadership — make informed, timely decisions that incorporate diverse perspectives and streamline business operations.
Foster trust and alignment across the organization — openly identify and leverage each team member’s individual passions and strengths to advance organizational goals, while supporting them in finding daily fulfillment in their role.
Balance leadership and hands-on involvement — actively engage with the Partner team while guiding them toward unified goals and shared success.
Stay connected to client work — oversee and, where appropriate, lead high-impact client engagements from discovery through delivery
Financial management — monitor financial health of the organization including creating budgets, managing cash flow, implementing financial strategies and ensuring compliance with regulations.
Serve as a visible and respected leader — represent Chapman & Co. with professionalism, authenticity, and thought leadership in all settings.
