Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Structural Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Possession of a Professional Engineer (PE) license as issued by the appropriate state licensing board.
Minimum of ten (10) years of progressive engineering experience, including complex design projects and a track record of adherence to regulatory and quality standards, including three (3) years of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

Supervise, mentor, and develop engineering teams to build a high-performing and engaged group.
Oversee resource management, ensuring that projects are fashioned appropriately to meet deadlines and quality benchmarks.
Facilitate regular team meetings and one-on-ones, providing constructive feedback and performance assessments.
Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and budgets in alignment with organizational strategy.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams—such as product management, quality assurance, and operations—to ensure project coherence.
Monitor project milestones, track deliverables, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on schedule.
Review and approve technical designs, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.
Serve as the principal subject matter expert, guiding the team on complex technical challenges and troubleshooting emerging issues.
Evaluate and integrate innovative technologies, processes, or tools that enhance productivity and quality.
Act as a key liaison between the engineering sections and executive leadership, translating technical requirements into actionable business strategies.
Prepare and present technical reports, project updates, and risk assessments to both internal and external personnel.
Ensure transparent communication across teams, fostering an environment of accountability and collaboration.
Establish and enforce engineering best practices and quality control standards.
Lead post-project reviews to analyze successes and areas for improvement and implement lessons learned.
Promote and support initiatives for process enhancement, efficiency, and innovation.
