The Managing Director is responsible for the overall leadership, operational execution and financial performance of the Effingham concrete construction division, a standalone office serving the region with underground utilities, earthwork, concrete paving and miscellaneous concrete construction services. This position provides both day-to-day leadership and long-term strategic direction to ensure safe, efficient, and profitable project delivery. This role carries full responsibility for division performance, leadership and profitability. The Managing Director will lead an experienced operations team while strengthening financial discipline, production tracking and organizational structure to improve execution and accountability. The division currently performs approximately $15 million in annual revenue, with a strategic objective to grow to $25 million within five years while significantly improving margin performance. This position is based in Effingham, IL and will work closely with executive leadership headquartered in Davenport, IA. Occasional travel may be required to support operations, leadership meetings, and regional initiatives. What makes you successful in this position?
