The Managing Director for Housing & Justice-Related Services (HJRS) is responsible for services provided to homeless individuals, people involved in the forensic system, individuals in recovery, and other at-risk populations. Services are provided in the city of Philadelphia and surrounding counties. This senior-level management position is also responsible for the administration, planning, development, and coordination of several programs designed to provide community-based substance abuse treatment alternatives to incarceration to criminal offenders in Philadelphia area. Programs are funded through a range of local, state, and federal funding sources. This position requires extensive administrative and supervisory experience, an understanding of fee-for-service reimbursement systems, and the ability to collaborate effectively with professionals in the substance abuse treatment, criminal justice, and public health and human services systems, as well as with local, state, and federal government officials. The Managing Director of HJRS also contributes to the financial stability and growth of PHMC's Criminal Justice, Homeless and Social Services, and Community-Based Outreach Programs, including budget management, development, and monitoring for fee-for-service programs and grants.
