About The Position

Your opportunity Direct U.S. intermediary sales activities through several markets/channels (e.g., broker dealer, financial planner/registered investment advisor, insurance company) and product areas (e. g., ETF, SMA, Mutual Funds, Alternative Investments) in a defined geographic area, including managing all within the region/area Develop sales plans and budgets for the assigned region Develop and manage relationships with assigned intermediaries Work closely with sales staff on growing sales and market share in the assigned region and in developing and maintaining assigned intermediary relationships Supervise and provide mentorship to sales staff in a defined geographic region Coordinate efforts with marketing and portfolio management staff to launch and promote new products Actively partnering with Compliance, IT, Risk, Operations, Data, and other cross‑functional teams on an ongoing basis. Requirements

  • Significant sales and relationship management experience of 10 plus years in the asset management industry
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop strategic business relationships
  • Excellent public speaking and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of the company, including history, investment resources/team/style/process, and fund offerings
  • Advanced knowledge of financial services industry and investment products in general, including stocks, bonds, funds, annuities, 401K plans, pension plans
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to work and make decisions independently
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Completion of Series 24 licensing within a 6‑month period.

Nice To Haves

  • Staff management experience preferred but not required
  • Divisional VP experience helpful, but not required
  • Series 7 and 63 licenses, and 24 or 26 preferred
