About The Position

TD Securities US is looking to hire an experienced Managing Director for our New York based Industrials Corporate Banking Team and welcome applicants that bring experience across the Industrials Sector. We are seeking someone who is a leader in the sector with proven connections and experience. Purpose of the role: Provide deep client coverage of a set of important relationships in the Industrials space Bring leading track record of client management and origination, building top tier relationships, and driving revenue by cross-selling banking products (establishing multiple product touchpoints/expanding wallet share), with a discipline around balance sheet/risk Knowledge of a broad range of Corporate & Investment Banking products, and experience leading and partnering with colleagues across the firm to deliver value-added solutions to clients Maximize the profitability of each client relationship and the overall portfolio and expand the client base where appropriate Possesses deep understanding of client base and industry with an ability to support clients' strategic and financial objectives by becoming a trusted advisor, providing differentiated solutions and advice, with the goal of elevating the Firm Key point of contact with Treasurer and team, and in some cases CFO/C-Suite.

Requirements

  • At least 15 years of experience in Large Cap Corporate Banking
  • In depth knowledge of the Industrials Sector (specific subsectors thereof)
  • Strong existing client relationships and proven results
  • Strong quantitative, analytical and strategic thinking skills
  • Excellent communication skills with an ability to lead client relationships and product teams
  • Demonstrated ability to understand clients' financials objectives and solving complex challenges
  • Strong understanding of credit risk
  • Strong team player that is willing to support the growth and development of the Team and the Firm
  • Previous experience as a Corporate Banking Managing Director at a major Financial Institution

Responsibilities
