About The Position

The Managing Director (MD) is responsible for overseeing a portfolio of clients requiring aviation-related products, including consulting, transactional, and asset management services. The MD serves as the primary point of contact and key advisor for clients, ensuring the development and protection of the firm’s brand, generating new business, and maintaining and deepening existing relationships.

  • Deep understanding of the aviation industry and related services.
  • Extensive existing relationships with flight departments, corporations, high net worth individuals, management companies, family offices, banks, aviation law firms, and other advisory firms.
  • Trusted advisor mindset paired with strong closing discipline.
  • Strong team player with a collaborative mindset.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities

  • Business Development: Generate new business opportunities and retain existing clients by building strong relationships and understanding their evolving needs.
  • Client Management: Act as the primary advisor for clients, analyzing their financial and operational strategies to recommend suitable consulting and transactional services that meet their immediate and long-term aviation needs.
  • Brand Development: Uphold and enhance the firm’s brand by delivering exceptional service and maintaining a deep understanding of the firm’s mission, culture, and ethos.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, direct, and coordinate key team members in the analysis and execution of the firm’s products and services, ensuring effective delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Project Management: Oversee and manage projects to ensure timely and successful completion, aligning with client expectations and company standards.
  • Cross-Selling: Identify and pursue cross-selling opportunities across the firm’s range of services.
  • Networking: Establish and maintain relationships with key companies, individuals, and influencers within the territory to expand the firm’s reach and influence.
  • Problem Solving: Continuously seek out and address situations where the firm’s products and services can provide effective solutions.
