We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Managing Director, Application Support Manager to join our Technology Production Services team. This role is located in New York City. In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required; advanced degree preferred. 15-20 years of related experience required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus
  • Experience in managing application support teams, including maintenance, integration, and implementation of software applications.
  • Experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering and ITIL
  • Experience in developing and implementing strategic plans for Production Services processes, governance, and supporting technology.
  • Experience in managing relationships with business and technology partners to drive solutions that impact the business.
  • People leadership experience, with the ability to manage and develop high-performing teams.

Nice To Haves

  • experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Oversees a department that is responsible for delivery of application support that includes maintenance, integration, and implementation of software applications within the organization that align to the proper controls to support the production environment.
  • Drive strategic priorities through expertise in complex cross-platform resiliency initiatives, cyber security incidents, and AI Adoption. Minimize service disruptions and optimize system performance by designing and implementing standard proactive monitoring and automation
  • Develops and sets the strategic direction for Production Services function including processes, governance and supporting technology. Manages relationships with business and technology partners in defining, developing, and implementing solutions that have impact on improving the business.
  • Orchestrates response to facilitate rapid recovery for business-critical incidents or globally significant events, minimizing client impact
  • Manage compliance to key performance indicators (KPI) and service level objectives (SLAs) used to monitor and drive high standards of service delivery
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that result in implementation of industry best practices, process improvement, toil reduction, and adoption of new technologies
