About The Position

The SAP Engagement Manager/Project Manager is directly responsible for successful execution and completion of a program and all OneCapgemini components if SAP is the lead Business Line in/for a program; successful is defined as meeting the timeline, client and Capgemini financial commitments, and stated client outcomes while achieving all quality requirements. Your role: The SAP Project Manager is typically assigned to one (1) engagement and/or client to assure appropriate and adequate coverage and attention is invested in a client’s success. Program Size: S4 Hana, maximum TCV of $5mm or monthly revenue flow of up to $100k - Team Size: maximum 40 across limited geographies and/or capabilities Responsible for the successful delivery of client outcomes and results. Serve as the highest point of escalation for the direct Capgemini personnel assigned to the project(s) and specific point for the client to escalate for day-to-day delivery issues for the specific project(s). Drive the entire project lifecycle from project initiation to project completion utilizing the prescribed Capgemini tools, technologies, and methodologies. Vigilantly monitor and align scope to the agreed SOW; aggressively identify and process change orders for changes to contracted for scope and timelines. Engage directly with client counterparts to create and maintain a productive and positive working relationship and cadence. Shares full accountability for the financial performance of each assigned program with the assigned Delivery Executive. Provide accurate and timely financial information to appropriate client constituents in accordance with the SOW or as agreed to with the client PMO. Work directly with Capgemini’s financial organizations, market units and/or business units and all associated business lines to provide accurate forecasts and performance data through the use of E-Monitoring and other required reporting tools. P articipate in client discussions, either face-to-face or remotely, to present to and interact with clients on the specific content of a submitted response or engage extemporaneously in client discussions to address points of inquiry that presents Capgemini as service provider capable and confident to address the client’s needs. Identify opportunities within current client environments and/or with other contacts and/or relationships. Once identified, work with the appropriate account and/or GTM individual(s) to present the opportunity and discuss next steps Translate the objectives, scope, milestone(s) and deliverables aligned with the SOW into a comprehensive project plan utilizing the agreed-upon project management toolset(s).

Requirements

  • 10+ years of Project Management experience - multiple E2E S4 Hana project management engagements
  • 15+ years of SAP experience
  • SAP certifications preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Excellent written and verbal communications
  • Strong executive presence and customer engagement
  • Action oriented/self-motivated
