About The Position

As Manager in our Ann Mashburn DC shop, you'll be responsible for the overall operation of the store, including managing staff, driving sales, ensuring brand standards and customer service standards are met, and implementing strategies to maximize teamwork and profitability. You will proudly represent Mashburn in the community, engaging with a variety of organizations and influencers to help connect them with the brand through events, outreach and more. You'll also use your expertise to help train and influence the team, and drive business decisions regarding merchandising, product placement, and sales strategy.

Requirements

  • A proven leader with 5+ years of leadership experience; retail preferred.
  • A track record of success in recruiting, selecting, coaching, and motivating a diverse team.
  • A desire to take care of every person on your team so that they can take care of our customers.
  • An overwhelming drive to deliver results and growth in a fast-paced environment.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines while still serving the mission every day.
  • A love of dressing up, not just because you have to.
  • Exceptional oral and written communications skills.
  • Ability to micro- and macro-manage projects.
  • Efficient and effective process and people management.
  • Proactive tactical and strategic planning.

Responsibilities

  • Consistently achieve or exceed monthly and seasonal individual and store sales goals, including personally selling equal to or above $500k annually within your store.
  • Monitor sales performance against targets and identify action plans for improvement.
  • Analyze sales data to address any merchandise and inventory needs as well as development opportunities for the sales team
  • Track store expenses and payroll to manage budget and maximize profitability.
  • Select, hire, train and retain an exceptional team of service all-stars.
  • Lead, inspire and motivate the team to provide world-class service and experience to customers.
  • Create a climate in which team members want to do their best.
  • Own the total performance of the store's service, operation, and people.
  • Role model the ability to relate well to all kinds of people and to resolve issues earnestly and promptly.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and local competitor activity.
  • Oversee the strategic marketing of Mashburn in the community through events and more.
