About The Position

The Grace Church Chaska manager oversees all logistics and processes to ensure that the church runs smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities include: Sunday, Wednesday, and Holiday execution Attend and work Sunday mornings at the Chaska location. Responsible for all non-worship center-related logistics, including pre-service setup, ministry logistics during service, and all post-service guest follow-up. Supervise Sunday and Wednesday Custodians. Oversee the logistics coordination with SWCHS of large events, i.e., Thanksgiving Eve, Christmas, Easter, and all Grace Chaska events. Discipleship processes Provide support in processing membership and baptism applicants. Responsible for logistics and communication for Communion and Baptism. Provide logistical, communication, and reporting support for Small Groups. Other campus-wide administration Help build and review communication needs for the campus. (print, email, web) Process all Paycom for direct reports, Campus musicians, and the production team. Assist with all campus budget creation and support other multisite staff with budget management. Maintain database and reports needed for monthly multisite data reporting. Provide ongoing communication and coordination with building needs at SWCHS and the Downtown office Rental company. Maintain access records for offices and SWCHS buildings. Work with Ministries to coordinate room needs for weekly Activities at SWCHS and the downtown office space. Leverage internal systems and create processes as needs are determined. Administration for Chaska Senior Director Manage receipts, track budget expenses, and help manage the budget for the campus. Provide Monthly tracking data for Campus (attendance, guests, involvement, and income). Support Sr Director logistical requests (i.e. expense reimbursement, reporting requests, etc.). Lead First Impressions/Engagement team Responsible for guest experience on Sunday mornings. Responsible for recruitment, training, scheduling, and development of volunteer team (Coffee Crew, Greeters, Guest Central, and Ushers) Provide monthly team meetings and training for the FI/Engagement team. Develop and improve, as needed, guest intake and follow-up processes. Work with the EP Engagement team to improve processes between campuses. Participate in monthly team meetings and weekly team prayer. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Education: Associate degree preferred.
  • Experience: Four years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; able to quickly learn new systems (CCB, Studio C, etc.).
  • Exhibits a meaningful and growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, as evidenced by the manifestation of the fruit of the Spirit.
  • Has a commitment to person and active participation in the fulfillment of the Great Commission. (Matthew 28:18-20).
  • The staff member is willing to become a member of Grace Church, regularly attending the weekend worship services and participating in the life of the church.
  • Has demonstrated skill in relating to and working with people, especially volunteers, church staff, and the congregation, within a team environment.
  • Has demonstrated a spiritual capacity and a heart willing to view this ministry as ministry to the Lord by serving the body of Grace Church.
  • Compatibility with the Grace Church mission, vision, values, and priorities, and lifestyle appropriate to a person in Christian ministry.
  • Has a commitment to prayer, as evidenced in both corporate and personal prayer times.
  • The staff members agree to abide by the staff handbook.
