Responsible for collaborating with hospital staff to develop and implement volunteer roles that meet the needs of our departments and enhance the patient experience. Recruits, places and on-boards volunteers within regulatory and legal parameters. Oversees daily operations of administrative and volunteer staff within specialty programs including the high school and college volunteer programs as well as Research. Collaborates with other department staff to improve impact and efficiency of services and enhance the volunteer experience. Develops relationships with and partners with the local community to showcase volunteer opportunities that will develop into a talent pipeline for the hospital. Will be required to sit for Certified Administrator of Volunteer Services Administrator (CAVS) exam within two years. Reports to the Director of Volunteer Services
