About The Position

Managers with our Valuation practice serve as members of various client service teams. Managers must have strong technical knowledge of valuations of closely held companies, intangible assets, debt instruments, and other assets for tax and financial statement reporting, mergers and acquisitions, strategic planning, and other purposes.

Requirements

  • 4+ years relevant work experience with at least 3 years in Valuation
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related degree (preferred)
  • Advanced credential required (i.e. CPA, CFP, ABV or CFA)
  • Self-starter with the initiative to seek out opportunities and ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Familiarity with Bloomberg, Cap IQ and other databases preferred

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Engage in business development activities (i.e. prepare proposals, present in webinars, collaborate with other service lines to market comprehensive tax strategies for prospective clients, etc.)
  • Manage the execution of client engagements
  • Communicate with clients and financial management
  • Conduct research on various client issues
  • Supervise, train, mentor and evaluate Seniors, Associates and Interns
  • Receive formal training related to Valuation, on the job training, direct feedback from industry leaders, and the opportunity to pursue additional training through internal and external resources.
