The Opportunity This position is a remote opportunity in the Abbott Diabetes Care Division. We are helping people with Diabetes lead healthier, happier lives. Consistent and accurate glucose monitoring is the foundation of any diabetes management plan, so we’re committed to continuous improvement in the way patients and professionals measure, track and analyze glucose levels. As a Manager US Field Service, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of the Quality system. Adhere to and promotes Abbott's Business Code of Conduct. Support electronic health record integration and digital solutions for healthcare professionals . Develop and provide strategic planning and commercial input to the development of connected health service solutions, understanding the key market drivers, priorities and growth opportunities. Monitor performance at healthcare practice and system levels including government healthcare sites. Build relationships, exposure, and ultimately market share of ADC by supporting connected health solutions in key national and regional accounts by supporting commercial sales teams. Participate in customer symposiums and trade shows on connected health and service related topics. Demonstrate proficiency and knowledge of all Abbott Diabetes Care products and digital solutions. Take on special projects assigned by Manager/Director/GM. This is a Field based remote opportunity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree Preferably in Computer Science or related IT field of study.
  • Minimum 5 years of an equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • IT Related background in Project Management and supporting digital healthcare solutions including EHR integration and cloud-based products.
  • Expert knowledge of IT applications, infrastructure and impact on business in a hospital/healthcare setting is preferred.
  • Must have high energy level, positive and confident.
  • Experience installing or supporting mission critical software or infrastructure.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Expert at identifying alternative ways to view or define problems and at using many and diverse sources for ideas and inspirations.

Nice To Haves

  • PMP Project Management certification preferred.
  • EPIC experience and/or certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the leadership and management of field-based Connected Health service team.
  • Assists the sales force with positioning digital health products and service solutions to meet the customer requirements.
  • Responsible for determining customer needs, developing account specific strategies, creating customer commitment to change, and building the value of ADC's digital solutions, resulting in the foundation for a smooth implementation and long term customer satisfaction.
  • Leads the Connected Health Integration Executives and is a resource to the commercial sales teams to drive product adoption with customers nationwide.
  • Take leadership role to formulate service sales strategy; proactively identify problems/obstacles and bring them to management attention with options for mitigation.
  • Effectively communication with sales and support teams through regular team meetings to develop best practices, and to motivate them to sell services.
