The Manager Trauma Program, under the general supervision of and directly responsible to the Director of Patient Care Services - Emergency, is tasked with promoting optimal emergency trauma care services. This involves the implementation of programs, coordination of activities, and evaluation of systems, processes, and outcomes. The role also encompasses responsibility for logistic information, daily data processing coordination, and monitoring the effectiveness of interaction among all involved services, including case management and resource utilization. Key functions include demonstrating the McLaren Health Care/Affiliate vision, mission, and values, communicating effectively both verbally and in writing with internal and external customers, and exhibiting skill in conveying complex information appropriately. The manager is expected to foster positive internal and external relations by actively seeking and responding to customer feedback, supporting continuous quality improvement, and making independent judgments aligned with the organization's mission, vision, and values. The position requires working independently in a self-directed, collaborative manner and demonstrating strong organizational skills through effective planning and delegation, continuously seeking opportunities to enhance departmental efficiency and effectiveness.
