Coordinates promotional and advertising activities championing Lake County as a leisure travel destination. Collaborates with internal and external marketing partners to assist in the effective execution of Lake County's Tourism Marketing Plan. Arranges and oversees promotional events and familiarization tours. Assists with management of the tourism support grant programs such as the event sponsorship and co-op marketing programs. Builds and maintains relationships with local tourism industry professionals and businesses, including, but not limited to, tourist attractions, hoteliers, restaurants and retail establishments. Responsible for providing professional and courteous customer service at all times and maintaining accurate and up-to-date records and reports. The position works under general supervision, independently developing work methods and sequences. This position shall be required to assist with emergency support functions in the event of a declared emergency and/or any other emergency duties as assigned.
