About The Position

We are seeking the best talent for a Manager, Tools, Platforms, and Innovation to be onsite in New Brunswick, NJ at least once per week. The Manager, Tools, Platforms, and Innovation will support the strategic and operational enablement of Johnson & Johnson Technology’s (JJT) Acquisitions & Divestitures (A&D) Service Line. This role focuses on IT architecture execution, tools and platform management, and driving innovation to ensure seamless execution of A&D transactions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, operational focus, and the ability to collaborate across diverse teams and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of related IT experience.
  • Experience in IT application management and migration, particularly within the context of business integration, acquisition, or divestiture programs.
  • Strong understanding of application lifecycle management, including assessment, remediation, migration, and decommissioning.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure and hosting models (on-premises, cloud, hybrid) and their impact on application migration planning.
  • Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams (infrastructure, security, compliance, business owners) to ensure successful application transition.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written), including the ability to explain technical concepts to business leaders and business requirements to technical teams.

  • Master's degree or equivalent experience or relevant certifications (e.g., CIPP, CISM, CISSP)
  • Experience with process automation through the use of current GenAI tool capabilities
  • Experience with application portfolio analysis and rationalization tools.
  • Knowledge of application dependency mapping, integration points, and interface management.
  • Understanding of application security, compliance, and validation requirements in regulated environments.
  • Familiarity with IT service management (ITSM) processes, change management, and cutover planning.
  • Experience with application archival and decommissioning processes.
  • IT experience supporting business acquisitions, divestitures, and integration/separation activities
  • Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A)

Responsibilities

  • Architecture Execution Support the execution of application and architectural strategies aligned with A&D objectives, including integration and separation plans.
  • Maintain comprehensive application inventories using tools such as CMDB, Smartsheet, and Fusion.
  • Implement architecture tools, frameworks, and governance models to streamline decision-making and ensure compliance.
  • Execute application lifecycle processes, including migration, decommissioning, and archival, ensuring data integrity and alignment with business goals.
  • Innovation and Continuous Improvement Identify emerging technologies and methodologies to enhance A&D processes and outcomes.
  • Implement strategies to improve transparency, data accuracy, and efficiency across the end-to-end A&D lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create standardized templates, examples, and insights that support consistent execution.
  • Actively utilize Gen AI in AnD processes to help increase efficiencies.
  • Tools and Platforms Management Assist in the selection, implementation, and optimization of tools and platforms that support A&D processes, including inventory management, reporting dashboards, and collaboration tools.
  • Train stakeholders on the effective use of ADSL tools, ensuring accessibility and alignment across workstreams.
  • Monitor and report progress using PMO dashboards, ensuring accurate tracking of application relationships, compliance analysis, and disposition plans.
  • Collaborate with Technical Services, ISRM, and other workstreams to ensure seamless integration of tools and platforms into broader IT ecosystems
  • Stakeholder Collaboration Partner with Deal Leads, PMOs, and functional teams to align tools and processes with deal objectives.
  • Provide visibility to program status to IT and business leadership; deliver updates to partners as appropriate.
  • Support the implementation of lessons learned from previous deals to refine tools, templates, and methodologies
  • Risk and Compliance Management Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and governance frameworks during all phases of A&D transactions.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to tools, platforms, and data management activities.
