About The Position

The Inland Empire 66ers, Single-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels, celebrate San Bernardino’s heritage while fostering future Major League talent. Playing at San Manuel Stadium, the 66ers deliver exciting baseball, fun promotions, and strong community connections. The Inland Empire 66ers are a proud member club of Diamond Baseball Holdings (DBH). DBH was formed in 2021 to support, promote, and enhance Minor League Baseball through best practices, professional management, innovation, and investment. The Inland Empire 66ers are seeking a highly motivated, well-organized, results-oriented sales professional that will be instrumental in building the ticketing strategy from the ground up and creating the foundation to surpass short-term and long-term ticket revenue goals, attendance goals and retention goals. The Manager, Ticket Sales will report to and collaborate with the Director, Ticket Sales.

Requirements

  • Minimum one year of prior outbound sport sales experience
  • Looking for a leader who is personable, hardworking, self-motivated, organized and detail-oriented to become a valuable member of our sales team.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), decision making, basic computer skills, project management, and inter-personal skills necessary.
  • Willing to engrain themselves in the community through networking and relationship building
  • Minimum three business based relationship references available upon request.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication, customer service and problem solving skills
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple projects and adhere to deadlines
  • Ability to navigate the stadium in order to visit clients during home games and escort potential customers on seat tours, showing various seating options and facilities on both game days and non-game days
  • Availability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holiday

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for, but not limited to, new season ticket sales, individual and packaged suites/hospitality, and group events to corporations, non-profits, schools, civic groups and the general public with an emphasis on maximizing revenue
  • Meet and exceed established weekly, monthly and annual sales goals
  • Implement and demonstrate outbound sales efforts by using sales and service best practices, prospecting, networking, lead generation, referral gathering, data capture and personal database management
  • Generate a pre-determined minimum number of weekly out of office as well as in ballpark “face-to-face” meetings to create new business opportunities
  • Provide a superior level of customer service to all suite clients, season ticket holders, plan holders, single game buyers, new business prospects and fans alike
  • Continually create and implement unique sales strategies, ideas and programs as a means of producing new business opportunities
  • Contribute positively to the sales team culture by developing mutually beneficial working relationships with all team members
  • Participate and contribute to sales team meetings and training sessions
  • Model and reinforce the Inland Empire 66ers expectations of positivity, work ethic, professionalism, respect and being the best you can be
  • Other duties as assigned
