Requirements

  • Previous experience supervising front-line employees
  • 5 years of cement terminal experience highly preferred
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills; ability to motivate, coach and develop employees
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills; ability to motivate, coach, and decelop employees
  • Strong leadership skills including motivating, influencing, fostering teamwork and resolving conflictBasic computer skills and aptitude to work with company computer programs
  • Must be a self-starter, and a problem solver
  • Must be able to perform well in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be committed to safety
  • Strong networking, interpersonal and teamwork/collaboration skills
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Possessing creative problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Results oriented – identifies issues and drives the decision process
  • Proficient in risk and issue management

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of the cement terminals, including management of employees, manage costs, keep terminals clean and in compliance related to environmental issues
  • Manage inventories to avoid stock outs and or demurrage
  • Responsible for process improvements
  • Foster teamwork, open communication, and cooperation across functional boundaries
  • Plan, develop, and implement strategies to maximize production and reduce costs
  • Responsible for quality, safety, and service
  • Responsible for staffing of plant to ensure operational efficiency
